Borosilicate Pearlescent Pigments


Borosilicate pearlescent pigments are made by coating high transparency borosilicate glass flakes with metal oxides (such as titanium dioxide). Borosilicate glass, known for its high heat resistance and durability, forms a strong base.​

The pigments are a unique type of shimmering pigment, valued for their special properties in various industries like cosmetics, coatings, and plastics.​

Unlike natural mica pigments, which have impurities and weaker heat resistance, borosilicate pigments offer more consistent quality and durability. They also outperform some synthetic mica pigments in high-temperature scenarios.​
